Did the Knights Templar find the head of John the baptist?

Is there any evidence of the Knights Templar finding the head of john the baptist, then worshipping it?

They did, but they got it mixed up with a whole bunch of other heads, during a Templars vs Knights of Malta charity kickabout. so they just pretended it had never happened, grabbed the nearest head, and stowed it away, in a dark room. But the Abbots knew. It really used to prey on the mind of Jaques de Molay, who often visited it, in the dark room, and would try to explain all kinds of things to it, it kind of became his “Confessor” and a lot of the other Templars would have a bit of a joke about it. “Jittery Jaque” they used to call him. But, inevitably, news of this got out to the Inquisition, and they confronted him with charges of “Talking to a Magical Head” (Among other things) And, under the gentle persuasion of the Inquistors, he admitted that, yes, it was true, and the head was actually a Demon, called “Baphomet”. And for good measure, he admitted “Kissing the anus, of the Black Goat of Mendes” although by this time, it was all pretty much by the by, they had all they needed to break up the Templars, burn the leaders, and exile the rest, as Heretics. And as an added bonus, the King of Spain didn’t have to pay them the huge amount of gold that he’d borrowed from them. Funnily enough, the head in question, was actually the head of Ghengis Khan, but that’s a whole other story.
