Has anyone mastered the Japanese shirt folding technique?
I’m sure you know what I’m talking about..In case you haven’t seen the video, Yahoo it. But I can’t figure it out for some reason. Any tips or a nice play by play. Whoever gives the answer that helps me figure it out will definately be chosen for best answer =)
I HAVE IT DOWN PAT…. it is soooo simple and i will tell you what. I have so much more drawer space and i love it. I will try and describe. Place a shirt in flat in front of you with the back down and front facing you. you will want the collar part to your right. Now, pinch the mid shoulder area of the sleeve furthest from you with your right hand. take you left hand and grab the shirt halfway to the bottom on the same line as the shoulder pinch. now this part sounds hard but it isnt really. both of your hands are now occupied but take your right hand that is on the shoulder are and go along that same line down to the bottom hem and grab both pieces of the shirt( front and back) at this point you will feel like you are in an awkward position, but uncross your arms and you will have your first part of the fold. finish folding into the form that you would like. it took me a few tries and i only learned last week , but i will tell you that once i got it down i tore all the clothes out of my dressers and did it to all of them. If my description does not help then just do what i did. GOOGLE shirt folding and there are several different sites that have visuals to describe the proper method. GOOD LUCK and i hope you figure it out because now all my dressers are so orderly and clothing is not forgot about from being at the bottom of the pile.
