Have you ever gone to a restaurant and been totally ignored?
I just came from a restaurant call Cattleman’s Steakhouse in Selma Ca. I sat there for 20 minuets, and no one came to my table. My jeans are a little dirty and my shirt is ugly but I have 300.00 dollars in my pocket and make more money in a week than the waitress makes in a month!!! I talked to a manager but was so upset i just left. I had to drive around for about half a hour to cool down. Doesn’t that suck??

Yeah, that stinks all right. For what little satisfaction it might give you to know it, a friend once told me about a guy who was treated in a similar way at a bank down south, apparently because of the way he was dressed. He got a little miffed, too, but he didn’t really say anything. It turns out, however, that the man just happened to have close to a million bucks in that bank at the time, and he withdrew it — all of it. Apparently, newspapers got hold of the story somehow. I guess you could assume the man thought a point needed to be made. And I’d venture that a lot of bank employees were given some pretty serious instructions about not judging people based on their looks. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.
