New Moms, Are you going to post a sign in front of your house when you bring your newborn home?
The only sign I’m going to post is BEWARE OF DOG.
A family in Missouri had their 1 week old daughter kidnapped from their home last week. The woman who took her saw the sign and balloons advertising the baby’s birth and got into the house, stabbed and slashed the child’s mother with a knife and left with the baby. The mother survived and had to walk with her one year old child to a neighbor’s to call for help. The family did get their daughter back! And the woman who took her is being held on $1,000,000.00 bond. The woman’s sister in law returned the baby to police.
The woman kidnapped the baby as she was returning home from the hospital after having a miscarriage. I don’t know how far along she was. Some details haven’t been released from the police about this.
What do you think? Are your going to advertise that you have a newborn baby in your home?
This really does not happen that often and I don’t think people should be afraid to celebrate their child’s birth due the the deranged minds of a few people. This is just one more reason that people should not let strangers into their homes. If someone asks to use a phone, tell them you will be right back and close and lock the door and bring them a cordless. NEVER let strangers into your home…especially if you have children!
